You will be the first Quality Assurance Engineer at Eco-Movement. This means you are responsible for setting up and automating a formal quality assurance process as part of product development and data delivery funnels. You will be part of our growing Product Team and work closely with the COO and Product Manager. Together with them, you will be able to shape how our client facing products are delivered to our scaling international customer base.
You should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also passionate about quality and skilled at setting up and executing test cases, then we would like to meet with you!
Outcomes
- Ensure both unit test and end-to-end test of our API product to reach above 80%
- Add test coverage for end-to-end test for our client facing products
- Add automated tests using customary test tools in our development process
- Perform and delegate functional tests on new features, improvements and bug fixes in case this is not covered by automated testing
- Document the testing system, so colleagues can write tests as part of their CI/CD workflow
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as QA engineer
- 3+ years of experience with all different levels of testing, including automating unit tests, integration and end-to-end tests of a technical product such as a publicly facing API
- Familiarity with running automated tests using Docker, Kubernetes and Jenkins
- A sense of independence and an ability to establish structures and processes
- A hands-on self-starter with portfolio of side projects and/or blog posts on software testing
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
